Using your umbrella:
Basil Bangs recommend securing your umbrella in a base. For freestanding umbrellas, Basil Bangs recommend the 25kg Basil Base and the 14kg Standard Base for settings.
In gusty conditions, Basil Bangs recommend lowering the umbrella to prevent any risk of it flying away.
This sounds obvious, but do not leave your umbrella unsecured.
Ensure the umbrella is dry before storing to minimize mould development.
Store the umbrella in a dry environment to extend its life and minimize wear and tear.
